Technology Infastructure Manager

Salary:

  • $93,519 annually

Summary:

Manages the Linn County data center, network (LAN/MAN/WAN), technical services, server hardware/software systems, network/security systems, hardware/software systems, telecommunications services, and the timely and reliable delivery of system services including 24x7 operations, and end user services and support.  Responsible for the overall management and availability of the network, servers, applications, development aids/tools, databases, cabling, data and voice-related infrastructures.

Main Duties:

  • Ensures the availability and uptime of all production services by managing the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of all systems including security components, network devices, servers, operating systems, hardware, software, and peripherals.
  • Performs proactive status checks as part of normal activities, ensuring optimum performance and up-time system availability
  • Manages new software rollouts, updates, and migrations and Windows patching/hotfixes and troubleshooting
  • Performs software configuration, detailed analysis, management reviews, policy reviews, and maintenance of software systems

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors’ degree in computer science or computer relate field or associate’s degree with multiple I.T. related certifications
  • 5 years of experience in similar positions for candidates with Bachelor’s degrees; 7 years of experience for candidates with Associate’s degrees
  • Minimum of 5 years of managerial experience

SHIFT:                         

  • Monday – Friday | 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
