We are a small family-owned trucking company, looking to add to our team.  We would prefer someone with 1-2 years experience as a Diesel /Trailer Mechanic. We need someone who is dedicated. Someone who can get the job done with little to no supervision and is not afraid to get their hands dirty. This is a Monday - Friday position with an occasional Saturday. There is some outdoor work required.

• Inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing semi-truck and trailer bodies, systems and components
• Performing preventative maintenance measures on semi-trucks and trailers
• Inspecting, servicing, and replacing tractor and trailer parts, including tires
• Ensuring that trailers meet the US Department of Transportation's road safety requirements
• Compiling inspection reports, documenting repairs, and reporting all findings to management
• Other duties assigned as needed
• Must own tools applicable to position
• Ability to frequently lift items up to 50 lbs
• Maintain paperwork /electronic documentation of work performed on a daily basis
