The Mount Vernon Community School District is seeking a dynamic and energetic full-time PK-4 ELP/TAG Teacher for the 2025-26 school year. This person will work collaboratively with teachers and leadership at Washington Elementary School to develop, implement, and evaluate instructional programming that meets the unique needs of talented and gifted learners.

• A PK-12 Talented & Gifted Endorsement (107) is required.

About Washington Elementary

Washington Elementary is a Preschool through 4th grade building with approximately 550 students.  Most of our grade levels have 5 sections of classes with anywhere from 16-23 students per class.  Students at Washington Elementary participate in all general education subjects in their classrooms as well as Music, Art, Spanish, Guidance, PE, and Library as specials.
