Nelson Electric Co., a leading electrical contracting firm, is seeking a dependable and efficient Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting electrical materials and equipment to job sites and ensuring timely deliveries to support our ongoing projects. Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport electrical materials, tools, and equipment to various job sites.
• Load and unload materials, ensuring they are secure and protected from damage during transit.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any maintenance issues to management.
• Communicate effectively with project managers and site supervisors regarding delivery schedules and requirements.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies while on the road and at job sites.
• Assist in organizing the warehouse and inventory management as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service, addressing any inquiries or concerns from clients regarding deliveries.
• Scaffolding erection, tear down and transportation.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; Ability to obtain CDL is a plus.
• Previous delivery experience, preferably in the construction or electrical field, is preferred but not required.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
