Progressive Rehabilitation Associates in Williamsburg, is looking for a 3/4  time (30 hours per week) Patient Service Specialists to join our team. As a Patient Service Specialist, you are the first connection to our patients and will be responsible for delivering a first-class customer experience. Responsibilities include answering the phone, patient registration and scheduling, and the collection of payments. Our Patient Service Specialists also assist clinicians in their day-to-day work, allowing them to maximize their efficiency and to create an overall positive experience they will talk about to their family and friends.

Job Duties include:

• Greeting patients to welcome them to our clinic 
• Register and/or update patient information to our computer system 
• Collect patient payments.  
• Answering phones to schedule appointments and answer patient questions 
• Obtain pre-authorization for patient care for certain insurance plans when needed.

Requirements:

• Good people skills and friendly personality
• Computer skills including scheduling/patient accounts software
• Ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks
• Good telephone manners and etiquette.
